The General Directorate of the Penitentiary System (DGSP) reinforced the controls and protocols of internal and external security of the El Renacer penitentiary when it received an alert, last weekend, of vandalism and possible escape in the Center.
With the help of the National Police, it was determined that those deprived of liberty vandalized part of the El Renacer facilities. Similarly, the DGSP opened a disciplinary process and will punish those deprived of liberty who participated in this action.
Thanks to the coordinated action of the National Police and the guards, a risk of flight or any alteration that threatened peace in the Penitentiary Center was avoided.
