They register an earthquake of 6.5 in Jujuy

This Wednesday, at noon local time, the Seismological network of the San Calixto Observatory registered an earthquake of intensity 6.5 in San Salvador de Jujuy (Argentina). The tremor was reported at a hypocentral depth of 210 kilometers.

The event was located in the town of San Salvador de Jujuy, 84 kilometers from San Antonio de los Cobres, Salta.

Initial reports indicate that the telluric movement was also felt in some regions of Bolivia, Chile and Paraguay, as well as Argentina.
