Agents of the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB) arrested two subjects and seized 11 oil tubes, according to military sources.
The procedure was carried out by members of the Urban Security Detachment No. 11 of the GNB in the industrial zone, San Francisco municipality, Zulia state.
In that operation, Eder José Alvarado Bastidas, Víctor Antonio González Bastidas and José Elvis Duarte Amado, members of the Los Topos criminal group, were arrested. These people were traveling in a Chevrolet Cheyenne vehicle, license plate A64BZ8A, where they carried the 11 oil tubes.
The Bastidas and Duarte Amado cousins will be prosecuted for illicit marketing of strategic material.
And in the La Gasolina sector, El Callao municipality (Bolívar), the military detained four members of the criminal group Los Candados, who dedicated themselves to defrauding people by exchanging false gold material, according to reports.
The detainees are identified as Eduard Rafael Romero Ramírez, Adrián Samuel González Castillo and Eidimar Alejandra Delgado Galea.
Also in Bolívar, but in the Parguaza sector, Cedeño municipality (Caicara del Orinoco), officials assigned to Detachment 626 of the GNB practiced the retention of 74 kilos of cassiterite and the same amount of coltan. This last mineral is used in the elaboration of cell phones and other electronic devices.
They also seized 650 liters of gasoline deposited in 30 plastic containers which were in the possession of Lilian Jadelly Rodríguez Contreras, who will be prosecuted for illegal marketing of strategic material and fuel.
