The Attorney General’s Office reported the prosecution of Gladys Alicia Encisoa woman who was charged with the crime of animal abuse. This woman had a pet store in the town of Chapineroin the east of Bogota.
According to the accusing entity, several inspections were carried out at the premises between May and August 2021 by the IDPYBA (District Institute for Animal Protection and Welfare of Bogotá) after receiving a complaint in which a citizen reported the death of a pet that I had bought on this site.

After inspection, it was found that many animals were in very poor healthbecause they were without water and did not have their vaccinations up to date, it is even believed that were put up for sale with less than three months of life.
