Intelligence agencies gathered elements that point to Jesús ITRIGO (currently detained) as an agent of the United States Drug Control Administration (DEA). Itriago served as head of the Cicpc Drug Division.
The information was confirmed by the attorney general, Tarek William Saab, who said that Itria “provided information (to the DEA) that was intended to create a false positive about the Venezuelan state.”

Based on these facts, Itriago will be charged with the crimes of conspiracy, capital legitimation, trafficking of narcotic and psychotropic substances, arms trafficking and association to commit crimes.
