Prevén entregar 5 leyes a la AN para impulsar participación de las comunas

They plan to deliver 5 laws to the AN to promote participation of the Communes

The deputy to the National Assembly (AN), Juan Carlos Sierra, member of the Commission for the Development of the Communes, in an interview for the Al Aire program broadcast by Venezolana de Televisión (VTV), reported that they plan for the end of the month of May, deliver to the board of directors of the AN at least five instruments of Law.

In this sense, Sierra indicated that one of them is the reform of the Law of Communes, which is in full process of public consultation, which makes social organizations visible, as well as the elements related to the communal scale and the organizational scheme of the communes.

He also stressed that with these instruments it is sought that the people have greater participation in the execution and designation of the resources of the regional and municipal governments.

“From the National Assembly we are oriented to abide by the call of the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro to fight corruption and an effective way to do it is to link the popular power in decision-making,” he said.

In turn, he declared that it is a great challenge, “since we have to go to discuss in the communities what the needs are in legal terms, because it is the people who should show us where the legislative agenda should be oriented.”
