The National Directorate for Drug Control (DNCD) seized 573 pounds of marijuana during an operation in Santiago.
The drugs were seized in a raid on a house on 4th street, in the Ciudad de Reyes residential complex, in the community of Jacagua, an action in which prosecutors from that city participated.
Agents of the DNCD, They arrived at the place responding to complaints in the sense that this house was used as an operations center for drug trafficking.
The DNCD reported that its agents found 63 packages in the main room of the seized home and another 29 inside two tanks.

The DNCD indicated that it works together with the Public Ministry to continue attacking the micro-trafficking of controlled substances throughout the national territory.
