A woman identified as Estéfany Rada was murdered inside a public transport unit that was traveling through the La Veraniega sector, Ocumare del Tuy (Miranda), according to police sources.
The victim worked as a nurse at the “Simón Bolívar” hospital located in the aforementioned Mirandina town.
The incident occurred last Friday afternoon when a subject fired a rifle at Estéfani and her partner José Gregorio Farfán (36), who was accompanying her.
The woman died on the spot, but Farfán was taken to the Los Valles del Tuy hospital. The Public Ministry opened an investigation to clarify the femicide.
