Two camps to process cocaine hydrochloride were discovered and destroyed in the José Antonio Páez municipality (Guasdualito) in Apure state, according to military sources.
One of the infrastructures was in the Santa Rita sector, José Antonio Páez municipality, Apure. The procedure was carried out by members of the Regional Anti-Drug Intelligence Unit (Uria), No. 35 of the Bolivarian National Guard, who are enrolled in Operation Vuelvan Caras 2022, aimed at dismantling irregular groups.
Within the detected camp there were four cocaine hydrochloride crystallization laboratories. But in addition, five panelas of cocaine were seized, weighing 20 kilos 795 grams.
The military also obtained materials used in the processing of cocaine hydrochloride; that is, 200 kilograms of potassium permanganate, 120 kilos of caustic soda, 8 streamers, 4 microwaves, 2 Arturites, 1 Martian, a hydraulic press and two drip trays.
The other camp was located in the Finca Cuba sector, José Antonio Páez municipality (Guasdualito), Apure. The building was hidden in a wooded area, which was used as a drug processing laboratory for the Tancol groups.
Inside the premises, the military found 200 liters of acetone deposited in a metal drum, a chemical agent used as a precursor for the preparation and processing of psychotropic and narcotic substances.
The deployment continues in Apure to find those responsible for all the criminal mountain infrastructure in those plains.
