From multiple stab wounds, a ex player from basketball this Saturday night on Colon street without number, in the Nazaret sector, Higüey municipality, La Altagracia province.

For the death of Valentín Enrique Miranda Pérez, 34 years of age, the named Andy Reynold Ramírez Montero, 31, who is in custody, is pointed out.

According to the legal doctor Rebeca Castillo, the former athlete died as a result of stab wounds to the head, right and left lower limb and right lateral region of the neck.

Meanwhile, the alleged murderer, (Ramírez Montero), presented blunt trauma with edema and a short puncture wound approximately three centimeters long to the head.

Said situation supposedly occurred when they were drinking alcoholic beverages in the room of the María Delia apartments, where they both lived, they had a heated discussion, supposedly for reasons of passion.

At the scene, the National Police collected the murder weapon, a knife with a black handle of approximately 05 inches and three bottles of extra old Brugal.

The body was sent to the National Institute of Forensic Sciences (Inacif), in San Pedro de Macorís for the corresponding purposes.

Meanwhile, the murderer will be sent to justice in the next few hours.

According to a shocking video to which Diario Libre had access, it can be seen how Valentín Enrique Miranda Pérez is dying in a pool of blood, while the alleged perpetrator Andy Reynold Ramírez Montero said, sitting on the bed, “I made a mess of my life, I didn’t want to kill him, for a damn woman, so much so that I told him so.”
