Through a search and seizure warrant, for the crime Against Collective Security, the National Police and the Public Prosecutor’s Office found 54,300.00 in counterfeit cash in a residence
in the town of Pueblo Nuevo.
According to the breakdown of the money, 420 notes in denomination of 100 with printing on both sides and 123 notes in denomination of 100 with printing on only one side were sent for investigation. These notes were kept inside a bag.
Following this discovery, the judicial authorities forwarded the evidence to begin investigations for Forgery.
