A 21-year-old man was almost lynched by the residents of Uspha Uspha, in the department of Cochabamba, after he was found inside a home stealing food and other belongings.
According to those affected, he was stealing some food, but when he was discovered he apologized to those affected, but the residents of the OTB Libertad, enraged to find the thief, tried to lynch him, tied him to a post and before doing justice into their own hands they called the police to deliver it.
“I had only taken noodles and oil, that’s where they grabbed me. Now I’m tied up here,” said the offender when interviewed by the media in Cochabamba.
He pointed out that he lived in the same area as Uspha Uspha, but that he had allegedly entered to steal some food because he had not eaten three days ago. “I work, I apologize,” said the thief.
However, for the neighbors, this action overwhelmed the people and they demanded that the authorities carry out more police controls in the area, since they are victims of robberies daily, even in broad daylight, where not even the students are saved, since They are intercepted and return to their homes without cell phones, according to what the neighbors denounced.
“The man entered through the window to rob my sister’s house, He supposedly says that he stole out of hunger, that he wanted to cook or take the food, but there was the disconnected jug ready to be stolen,” said the brother of the owner of the violated house.
