The Vice Minister of Air Transport and General Director of the Simón Bolívar International Airport (IAIM), G/B. Freddy Borges, met with the Bolivarian President of Airports, Colonel Leonardo Briceño Dudamel, to evaluate the plans designed for the consolidation of the air sector in Venezuela.
The information was published on the Twitter account @viceminaereo of the Vice Ministry of Air Transport of the Ministry of People’s Power for Transportation, where it was stated that the air activity aims to strengthen the commonwealth.

Likewise, he highlighted that among the affiliated entities they will continue to achieve achievements in favor of optimizing the activities of the sector. In addition, he highlighted the importance of obtaining new quality milestones in the provision of the service.
It is worth noting that in December 2022, the aviation sector completed more than 24 agreements, which will allow the country’s aeronautical system to be repowered.
More recently, the Moscow and Caracas air route was activated, agreeing that its airlines can carry out flights between both countries with a stopover in Cuba, according to a statement published by the Russian Federal Air Transport Agency.
