They dismantled 20 artisanal furnaces to process fuel

Agents of the Bolivarian National Guard continue the work of locating and destroying clandestine refineries located in the Mara municipality (San Rafael de El Moján), Zulia.

On this occasion, they found another clandestine fuel processing laboratory located in the La Ribaco sector of the aforementioned Zulia municipality.

In that site they retained 1,248 liters of diesel stored in six plastic containers of different capacities; 1,664 liters of crude oil, 20 artisan ovens of strategic material for crude oil processing, 500 meters of hoses of different diameters and 135 plastic containers.

At the site, the military detained Junior Hernández, the first person captured since this operation began last March.

Hernández will be prosecuted for theft and extraction of strategic material from the state company PDVSA and illegal use of dangerous chemical substances (gas and oil).

At the scene they arrested Junior Hernández.
