This Thursday morning, a group of people took by force and with the use of weapons the Maicapampa farm, located near La Angostura, denounced the residents of the sector and the owners of the property, the Canelas Méndez family.

According to preliminary reports, the so-called “overwhelmers” entered the house, caused serious material damage and attacked the workers.

The assailants even tied one of the workers to a tree and changed the locks on the building.

The victims have requested the departmental commander of the Police, Rubén Lobatón, to attend to the complaint they filed with the Tarata Special Force to Fight Crime (Felcc).

“The property is part of the municipality of Arbieto and despite having instructions to demolish the illegal houses, it had not intervened so far,” said one of the owners.

The family fights for several years against the invaders, who try to build houses on that property illegally, reported the What’s up now portal.

Very close to Maicapampa is the Angostura farm, which for more than a year has been facing attacks from loters who, according to complaints, provide construction material to the invaders to build illegal homes.
