According to the story, when he presented himself in the emergency room, the patient was treated badly, leaving him in the chair, without taking his personal data “neither his pressure nor his vital signs, while he bled to death.” He adds that “not even the stretcher was lent out of disgust for him to get dirty with blood.”

He points out that the doctor on duty, whom they brand as the main verbal aggressor, hid when the citizen took out her cell phone to record what was happening. In the video, the woman faces the doctor who left the room.

“He treated him for complaining so much, he told the nurse to perform several stitches on his head without washing, without anesthesia, showing disgust and scolding his relatives because he, as a doctor, was not capable of doing that. He only spoke to scold the relatives because it took us a while to go buy a pill, because they don’t have a single medicine there, “he explained.

Another of the abuses reported by the citizen’s wife was that the doctor ordered them to be taken out, arguing that the space in the health center was full. “That bothered me and especially because my husband couldn’t even stand up so dazed, he stayed seated,” she stressed.

«That bothered me and still with a hard face, with the face of a dog that they attend to patients, he told me that if I wanted I could go to Dr. Silva in the morning to file my complaint, word that I am going to take, because a patient he’s not a dog, and he’s not a vet,” he said.

«We retired in the rain; The doctor with his sarcastic laugh made fun of our faces as if to say: “do what you want” (…) It is a mistake to go waste time in a place where what you receive is mistreatment from medical dialers like this, what else that doctors seem like members of the Army because of how blunt they are, “he concluded.

Article 66 tried to contact the affected person to find out more details of the events that occurred, however no communication could be established. According to residents of San Marcos and Jinotepe, the lack of medical care and abuse by medical personnel is a constant problem.
