The relatives of Miriam Gutiérrez Colindres, originally from the city of Condega, ask that the full weight of the law fall on the subject who murdered her with 14 stab wounds.
The victim was attacked in the Guanuca market, located in the department of Matagalpa. The woman was assisted by Red Cross personnel, who arrived at the scene to give her pre-hospital care, but the woman died on the way.
“We ask that the full weight of the law fall on that man who killed our family member. It was not a dog that murdered, but a woman and we await justice from the authorities, because the case cannot go unpunished,” said María Luisa Gómez, a relative of Miriam Gutiérrez Colindres, who was murdered in Matagalpa.

Miriam Colindres, mother of the deceased, reported that the female was in Matagalpa visiting one of her children and with the aim of looking for work. The accused, after committing the crime, tried to flee, but was detained by police officers.
“The only thing we know is that she was with that man and it seems that they argued and it was where he took out the weapon and killed her,” the mother explained, very dismayed.
It was unofficially known that Elder Antonio Castro Obando was identified as the alleged femicide and is being detained by the authorities.
