The National Gendarmerie and the Departmental Police Headquarters of the town of Victoria, Entre Ríos, decided to interrupt traffic on the bridge that connects that city with Rosario (Santa Fe) on Monday night. by the presence of dense columns of smoke as a result of multiple firess, sources from the security forces reported.

The Santa Fe Provincial Road Safety Agency also communicated the determination on its social networks.

“Attention Rosario, access to the Rosario-Victoria bridge cut off due to the presence of smoke,” the agency reported, to explain that “detours are being made on the access to the Rosario-Santa Fe highway and down to Rondeau Boulevard.”

The transit was enabled again at approximately 9:30 p.m. this Monday, according to the provincial agency, although they recommend “circulate with maximum caution and, as far as possible, avoid the area.”

Several sources of fire remained active this Monday in the area of ​​​​the islands of the Paraná Deltain the jurisdiction of the town of Victoria in Entre Ríos.

The dense columns of smoke could be seen from the coast of the river in the city of Rosario, which, due to the southerly direction of the wind, did not suffer the effects of the fires.

In his daily report, the National Fire Management Service reported the existence of four active outbreaks on the Ranchada, Laguna Vázquez, Barrancoso and Las Vueltas islands, and a fire that had managed to be contained in Laguna Chata, all in the jurisdiction of Victoria.

While there were five other active fires in the jurisdiction of Gualeguay.
