Four members of a criminal group were detained in the Toro Muerto sector, Caroni municipality, Bolívar state.
The arrest was carried out by officials attached to the Directorate of Strategic Investigations of the Bolivarian National Police.
The detainees were identified as Orlando Enrique Monasterio Patiño (41), Jonathan Moisés Rojas Pérez (24), Deivis Wilkimberth Betancourt Romero (21) and Hernán Javier Zuluaga Blanco (41). The latter is requested by a criminal court.
The men were arrested in flagrante delicto for possession of ammunition and narcotic and psychotropic substances.
As evidence, the uniformed officers seized 81 ammunition, 28 of them destined for rifles.
They also confiscated 2 portable radios, 580 grams of crispa and two cell phones.
The detainees were handed over to the Public Ministry.
