After last March 14, the mayor of the capital, José Luis Fábrega received the intervention project for Calle Uruguay, a work that has improved the public space of the area and has benefited the community, the capital commune began with the removal process of 59 light poles, which will allow the start of work to bury the telecommunications and electric power cables.

The removal of the light poles is expected to be completed on June 4 and the repair of the sidewalks where they were located, on June 11.

This work invites the conciliation of this historic residential area with the entertainment, recreation and cultural life activities typical of the cosmopolitan city of Panama.

This project seeks to improve the image, mobility, safety and operation of the area.
