Two people, presumably linked to the murder of an American businessman and a Panamanian pilot, were apprehended in the Villa Unida sector.
The event, which began with the kidnapping of three people in the province of Chiriquí, became known after the bodies of two of them were found in Río Chico, in the province of Coclé.
The third person, a woman who was kidnapped along with the businessman and the pilot, was located alive in the community of Llano de La Palma, province of Coclé.
The capture occurred through a raid operation.
The authorities indicated that the operations continue to find a third person linked to the blood act.
The United States Embassy in Panama condemned the kidnapping and murder of his compatriot.
