The Arequipa Anti-Drug Police today intervened three Bolivian citizens at the Arequipa Land Terminal, Jacobo Hunter district, who had 18 kilos of drugs attached to their bodies.
The women arrived this morning on a bus from the city of Lima. During the intervention, the agents carried out an inspection and found on the body of each one, six packages containing cocaine.

Each of the packages would cost 2 thousand dollars, so in total it would be 100 thousand soles worth of drugs. This figure is estimated in Peru, since it can be sold abroad at a higher price.
The agents detained the women and are awaiting the presence of the prosecutor on duty. Through their order, the agents will transfer the foreign citizens and the drugs to the DIVINCRI headquarters, in the city’s Cercado.
