They call on entrepreneurs from all over the country to access seed capital

The country’s women entrepreneurs, owners of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises, are called to participate in the REEMUJERPY project, which will allow them the opportunity to access a seed capital of 12 million guaraníes to support the start of their businesses, informed the deputy minister of MSMEs, Isaac Godoy.

The REEMUJERPY project was launched by the Ministry of Industry and Commerce (MIC), through the Vice Ministry of MSMEs and the Technical Mission of Taiwan.

Vice Minister Godoy explained that this project has a specific focus, which is women entrepreneurs from all areas and from different parts of the country, so that they can access seed capital of approximately 12 million guaraníes. “On the website and on the social networks of the MIC, and of the REMUJERPY Project-Taiwan Technical Mission, you will find the bases and conditions and all the platforms for registration, which interested parties can do until April 22,” he mentioned. she.

Among the benefits to which they will have access, the entrepreneurs who apply are training and support services, and to apply at the national level for a seed capital to promote their ventures, located in the country.

“There will be 242 women beneficiaries in this call, and we hope that in the second half of the year we can, in a second call, benefit 160 more, with which 500 micro-enterprises benefiting from women entrepreneurs will be completed,” said the vice minister of the MIC .

Recounting the beginnings of this project, she mentioned that last year they began to work, within the framework of the National Award for MSMEs, a special category for women entrepreneurs. “We noticed a great participation of women and the quality of their projects; That is why, with these results, the Taiwan Technical Mission expanded the support aimed at women entrepreneurs, and therefore the REEMUJER Project, which focuses on them”, she pointed out.

“However, this project will lead us to other objectives, for example, to set up eight support centers for entrepreneurs in the interior of the country, in alliance with universities, municipalities and private sector unions and associations. This action will allow us as a Ministry to reach more entrepreneurs throughout the territory, and as public policies, work on promoting an entrepreneurial culture, through these centers”, he stressed.
