They ask truckers to allow circulation on routes: “There is a country that needs to work”

Hoy Paraguay

Daniel Díaz de Vivar, president of the Paraguayan Chamber of Construction (Capaco), told the Universo 970 – Nación Media radio station that although everyone has the power and possibility to demonstrate, they cannot prevent other people from continuing to work.

“What we ask is that they be allowed to work and that we be able to circulate along the routes. Please let the people who are producing work because there are commitments assumed and we must honor salaries at the end of the month. There is a Paraguay that must work”, he indicated.

He recalled that in the previous forceful measures of the truckers there were many complications to continue operating, so he does not want the same thing to happen again this time.

“We are reaching a point where anyone does what they want and you really have to sit down to solve it in a good way, but letting people who want it work,” he added.

On the other hand, the interviewee indicated that the problem of fuel prices can only be resolved through transparency in the cost structure, so that the actors of the different economic sectors -public and private- find the adjustments to the prices at a convenient time, based on reliable information, without room for speculation.

The entrance They ask truckers to allow circulation on routes: “There is a country that needs to work” was first published in diary TODAY.
