The young Heydi Lisseth Vivas Rodríguez, 28 years old, originally from Chontales, died after being hit by a vehicle on one of the highways in the state of Chiapas, in Mexico, on February 1, 2023. Her relatives ask for help to repatriate the body from the Nicaraguan
Through social networks, the Vivas family notified about the event and requested financial support to bring the body back. To do this, they need to raise the amount of five thousand dollars. “My daughter, she told me, that she was going to the United States with the aim of buying me a house, since we rented,” said the victim’s mother, Salvadora Rodríguez.

The parent affirms that the incident occurred when the young Heydi Lisseth hurriedly crossed the road after fleeing from Migration officials.
Vivas died on February 1st, but the relatives realized the death of Vivas Rodríguez, 20 days after the fatal accident.
His relatives enabled the telephone number 8698-7099 for any help.
Recently, at least 17 people died and 15 were injured in a bus accident carrying migrants from Venezuela, Colombia and Central America on a highway connecting the Mexican states of Oaxaca and Puebla. The State of Mexico said that those affected are of foreign origin, although it did not specify the nationalities of each of them.
Migrants passing through Mexico in an attempt to reach the United States are sometimes forced to travel clandestinely and overcrowded or follow routes controlled by criminal groups.
