The Cicpc reported the capture of three subjects of Colombian nationality accused of entering Corpoelec-Ureña (Táchira) and stealing key materials for the supply of electricity in that border town.
In this case, those arrested are: Jaime Alberto Parra Rivera (48), Alexander Silva Leal (45) and Germán Peñaranda Garnica (31), who took four current elevators, several segments of wiring and a circuit breaker from the aforementioned state company. electricity, damaging the electricity supply in the area, says the scientific police report.
Officials of the Cicpc observed when the Colombians stole the Corpoelec devices and when they gave them the voice to stop, they tried to sneak away.
After their arrest, the men were interrogated and admitted that the stolen material would be taken to Colombia for commercialization.
The subjects were handed over to the Public Ministry.
