The Cicpc reported the capture of Carlos Eliézer Rojas Rodríguez (33), who is accused of planning to rob his aunt Aurora Del Pilar Gómez (53) who was murdered.
According to what was published on the Instagram account of the scientific police, the event occurred on February 2 in the Corozalito sector, Los Mangos farm, La Luz parish, Obispo municipality, Barinas state.
Carlos Eliézer learned that his aunt would sell cattle from which he would obtain 37,500 dollars and he looked for a way to steal it. For this reason, he contacted Jesús Henrique Orellana Rubio (37) and two more men yet to be identified and apprehended.
The day they entered the farm to commit the robbery, the aunt identified her nephew. That is why they decided to kill her by shooting her with a shotgun. Then they fled taking chains, watches, perfumes and 300 dollars, according to the Cicpc version. Part of those assets were recovered as well as the shotgun used in the homicide.
