Today in the afternoon a driver of Line 2 of the Metro was arrested by elements of the Banking and Industrial Police (PBI) for allegedly driving while intoxicated.
According to the users of this line, the driver opened the doors on the opposite side to which they should leave.
The director of the Metro, Guillermo Calderón, has reported that he has already been placed at the disposal of the corresponding authorities and will carry out a breathalyzer test. If the test is positive, the operator will be definitively discharged.
On the other hand, he assured that the operative personnel involved will be investigated and in case of any irresponsibility, the corresponding sanctions will also be applied.
Regarding the driver who improperly opened the doors on L2, I inform you that he was relieved immediately and transferred to the breathalyzer test, if it is positive, the corresponding sanction will be applied, which implies the definitive termination of the service.
