They approve in third debate the project of Law 550 that regulates the patronages

With 39 votes in favor, two abstentions and 1 vote against this afternoon, the bill 550, which proposes a new general regulatory framework for institutions governed by boards of trustees, was approved by the plenary session of the Assembly in third debate. among other administrative figures.

The project, which was vetoed on April 1 by the President of the Republic, Laurentino Cortizo, considering articles 1, 9 and 10 inconvenient, had also been harshly criticized by civic clubs, civil society and various unions, who claimed that he sponsored the politicking in the administration of the hospitals and that attempted against the autonomy of these patronages.

This, which establishes the general regulatory framework for boards of trustees, public management councils, commissions, programs and other similar entities created by the State, was presented by Deputy Víctor Castillo.
