The Police and Prosecutor’s Office investigated whether the baby was born alive or dead, and presumes that he was suffocated

Justice accused this Wednesday the young transgender who gave birth to a baby in the bathroom of the criminal court of Juan Carlos Gomez. The charge was homicide, especially aggravated after the baby died, reported Underlined and confirmed The Observer.
The man, who was detained for a robbery case, asked custody to go to the bathroom, where he ended up having the baby. He was detained at the disposal of the Prosecutor’s Office of 12either Turno, commanded by Sabrina Flores, and the legality of her detention was to be controlled.
However, the hearing did not take place. Now, the Police and the Prosecutor’s Office investigated whether the baby was born alive or dead, and presumes that it was suffocated.
At the time of the hearing, those present did not notice that the person was pregnant.
The young man is still hospitalized. The case was in charge of the Homicide Prosecutor Carlos Negro, but as it is within the framework of the minor judicial fair -which takes place between July 1 and 15-, if there are news, the investigation will continue with Mirta Morales.
