Deputy Felipe Schipani and his partner, also Deputy María Eugenia Roselló, both from the Colorado Party, turned on social networks amid a controversy with a popular Twitter account.
First, on March 16, the popular Twitter account @Deldichoalhech5 released a series of statistical data on the absences of Schipani’s deputies, and assured that the Colorado legislator received his full salary despite having been absent. He showed a document, supposedly extracted from public information of the Parliament, in which you can see the salaries he received from 2020 to 2022.
“There you have Schipani. When they see him, they remind him that his faults have cost us almost 1 million pesos. I can’t because he blocked me. They also remind him from me that he is a great participant in the Colorado Party debacle. That one, no one takes it out”, commented @Deldichoalhech5.

In another tweet, the Twitter account stated that Felipe Schipani, who had it blocked, proceeded to unblock it “to gossip”, and this is where the controversy began. “Pica Oscar Machín. I finally know your identity,” Schipani launched, citing the tweet, inferring that this would be the name of the person behind @Deldichoalhech5.
“How strange is the deputy chasing the person and not the message? This speaks volumes about your level. A thousand messages with data he had to discuss, but he chose to throw out a name. Do you want to discuss your performance or are you going to limit yourself to this?” @Deldichoalhech5 replied.
Another member of the Colorado Party, the conventional Pablo Ramos, added that “it is public, it is not enough to get angry, it is using the same methods that you use to ‘investigate’ the government”, and cited a screenshot in which the name Oscar Machín appears. “Hi, Pablo! I just take advantage and ask you, as a member of the @PartidoColorado, what is your opinion that as a society we pay the salary of people who take leave for personal reasons? Does it seem ethical to you? I’m listening to you anxiously,” @Deldichoalhech5 launched at him.
“If it is within the law, I see no objections… if you don’t like it, there were 15 years of majority to change it and it was not done. If you want to have it now, I am glad that the debate is taking place, not the escrache For something that is legal ”, Pablo Ramos returned.
Back in Schipani’s supposed “escrache”, some people spoke out against that decision to expose the alleged name behind the Twitter account. “Deputy, if you go to work instead of chasing people who only ask you to work? It is seen that he has some habit of the PC of blows left, “wrote a person who identifies himself as Leo (@ dhl14).
Another renowned tweeter, @AlfTweetadded to the conversation saying: “Since 2020 persecuting teachers and students, now they also persecute militants. Who do they ask for the chips now that he’s not here? Asthesian? Unfortunate che… We pay them a salary to legislate, not to persecute us”.
Schipani says he has 99% attendance
The Colorado legislator continued pulling the rope to ensure that “there are angry people” with the “complaint against the Fenapes leadership that has chosen to cowardly defame from anonymity.” And he added: I have 99% support from the Chamber. 41 days of leave in 3 years (13.6 days per year). There are 54 deputies who requested more licenses than me”.
Schipani’s wife, the Colorado deputy, also entered the controversy Maria Eugenia Rosellówho supposedly he would have taken 62 days of leave in his legislative period, with 98% of absences with notice and 2% without notice. @Deldichoalhech5 also assured that his absences have cost the public about $921,542 in payments to substitutes. To this, Roselló replied that it is a “defamation carried out from anonymity, worthy of a coward.”
In that reply, the right-wing legislator showed images in which it is read that, supposedly, she would have attended 116 of 119 sessions in the House of Representatives. With this she tried to clarify that she attended all the sessions to which she was summoned. “The part that the deputy did not publish, the one that says that was not cited 62 times for being on leave. As shown by the citations to Deputy Vega, who has only 1 day of leave, the camera injured 181 times, of those the deputy attended 116 (2 absences with notice, 1 without notice and 62 for leave)”, explained the Twitter account @ agustata.

She shared a screenshot showing that she was not cited for license 62 times, which coincides with the 62 times that she did not appear for the House of Representatives.
