Thermal sensation reaches -4º C in the south of São Paulo

During the dawn of today (18) the thermal sensation reached -4º degrees Celsius in the region of Congonhas Airport, south zone of the capital of São Paulo, despite the thermometers marking 7º C, according to the measurement of the Emergency Management Center. According to the municipal agency, 7º C was the average in the city until the early morning, but in the extreme south of the city, in Marsilac, temperatures reached 6º C with a thermal sensation of 1º C.Thermal sensation reaches -4º C in the south of São Paulo

Temperatures were the lowest of the year. Since 2004, the lowest average temperature recorded by the CGE in the capital of São Paulo was on July 30, 2021, with 3.2° C. While the lowest temperature in the city was in Parelheiros, extreme south, on the same date, when the thermometers marked -3º C.

The CGE forecast is that the day will keep the sky clear, with temperature not exceeding 14º C. The winds can exceed the speed of 50 kilometers per hour, increasing the feeling of cold.

Tomorrow (19), the cold should continue, with temperatures ranging between a minimum of 7º C and a maximum of 16º C.
