The Uruguayan Institute of Meteorology (Inumet) issued this Sunday a double weather alert for strong storms Which affects 11 departments.
Both are associated with a humid and unstable air mass that affects the country, generating storms that can be strong and/or punctually severe.
In storm zones, intense rains may be recorded in short periods, hail fall, intense electrical activity and very strong gusts of wind.
This warning was issued at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday and is valid until 1:00 p.m., although it can be updated in the event of significant changes.
