There are "few trained professionals" to fight the mafia, they assured

Jorge Figueredo, former prosecutor and member of the Antimafia Group, told Radio Monumental on Wednesday that there is little intellectual preparation and few tools to fight the mafia.

Figueredo added that prosecutor Marcelo Pecci was an exception in the Public Ministry.

“There are few prosecutors, judges and police officers intellectually trained to fight the mafia. First you have to train intellectually, then you have the courage and courage to establish strategies to fight the mafia. Otherwise, we will be reacting as a State in an emotional, episodic and fluctuating way, only when there are these types of events », he said.

He further pointed out that sophisticated strategies should be applied and the “obsolete” ones should be left behind.
