Zaida Valarezo, head of the Unit of the Elderlysays that for this year they have 2,000 more quotas, so that the older adults access, not only the workshopsbut to this service that also has care in psychology, physiotherapy, home visits and social work.

Valarezo points out that these spaces allow improving the quality of life of the older adultswhich are usually a forgotten population and that require activities, since the sedentary lifestyle of the mind and body increases the risk of having diseases or cognitive deterioration.
