#TheCharacter | Yolanda de la Torre, the guilty

Suddenly, Doña Yolanda recognized herself with a sense of State, and from one day to the next she “discovered” the deficit of the local police and the abandonment of the municipalities, she “discovered” that the Constitution has transitional provisions that are also law, “she discovered” that the Federal Government has breached it and “discovered” that the government’s security strategy has failed.

And well, after such great discoveries and supported by her bench, the deputy decided to launch him to break the constitutional moratorium and extend the militarization of the country until 2028.

With flimsy and superficial arguments, the deputy presented an initiative to change “one word” of the Constitution. Her militaristic initiative seeks to leave the Army in the streets until 2028. And even if it is just a word, it seems that she hides another intention: to offer it as a tribute on a silver platter to morenismo and seek negotiation margins for Alito.

Imagine, they take the pressure off the government to comply with the strengthening of the National Guard and civil police institutions, they break the electoral and legislative alliance of Va por México, and they practically assure victories in the next elections. As they say: all in one.

I open a parenthesis, because thank God the deputy for Edomex, Ana Lilia Herrera, did NOT vote for this poisoned initiative.

But, it’s not the first time that they’ve done this by way of extortion and blackmail… It should be remembered that in the electricity reform they had the same modus operandi: with one hand they introduce initiatives that fill their eyes and with the other they go with the other forces to promise virgin pearls

In March of this year, both Yolanda and Ana Lilia Herrera presented an initiative to reform articles 25, 27 and 28 of the CPEUM, which made a comparison to the control of the energy market that CFE and Pemex were seeking.

Now the calculation fails them, because they did not count on the fact that the members of Va por México were going to leave them hanging.

The role of distracting, like the initiative to arm the people and now to give so much power to the Army, goes through other paths that are not necessarily public security or peace.
