Commotion in Bucaramanga has been caused by the robbery of a young woman who was seriously injured in the middle of a robbery.
This is Angie Marcela Amado Cárdenas, a 28-year-old woman and psychologist who lives in Bucaramanga.
The young woman was on her motorcycle when criminals caught up with her and, because they stole her purse, made her fall from the vehicle.
Unfortunately, the young woman suffered a serious blow to her head. She was taken to the emergency room at the La Merced Clinic, where doctors confirmed that the victim had clots.
Immediately, she had to undergo surgery; However, her memory was affected.
“She doesn’t remember anything after the attack. She doesn’t even remember that she had a complex surgery. She doesn’t know how many days she has been in the hospital. She does recognise us, but every day she asks where she is and why she is in a clinic. After the accident her mind started wandering,” a relative told Vanguardia.
According to the authorities, four thieves who were traveling on two motorcycles shaved her purse, without mercy.
His relative said that every day he asks what happened to him and questions why he has bandages on his head. Doctors say that recovery is slow and that you should wait until you are out of danger.
Now, the Police announced that an Elite Anti-Robbery Group is carrying out the investigation that will allow the capture of the motorcycle thieves.
“These subjects stole a purse, causing injuries to the citizen. “The Prosecutor’s Office and Police have been collecting evidentiary material, security cameras and human sources, to find these motor thieves,” authorities indicated.
