The content of the telephones was one of the keys to the day this Tuesday in the trial of the eight rugbiers accused of killing Fernando Báez Sosawhich takes place before the Oral Criminal Court No. 1 of Dolores.
Thus, various experts who worked on the investigation revealed conversations of WhatsApp taken from the expertise on the cell phones seized in the raid on January 18, 2020where the defendants were detained by the Buenos Aires Police, five hours after the murder in front of the Le Brique disco.
The audios are, for the complaint and for the prosecution, highly incriminating evidence that shows the cynicism of the defendants. Many of the conversations were already known to those who had access to the file.
Others, however, became a revelation.
The phone of Blas Cinalli It contained the audios that illustrate this note, which Infobae accessed. “They took all the patovicas out of us, we beat it up badly,” he told an interlocutor. “They grabbed us by the neck, the police took us out, but we still won,” he added.
Then he continued: “Hey, friend, as soon as we arrive, send me, we will be at home with Lucas and Ayrton”, referring to Pertossi and Viollaz. “Post, post, we are arriving at McDonald’s, we are going back to the center to see what’s up, maybe we cross them,” he asked her.
And he continued, with an agitated voice: “Send me a post, we are running so they don’t see us.” He ended with “send me when you arrive, post turro, we have to be there at home.”
During the hearing on Tuesday, the work of the Investigator in the case Javier Pablo Laborde, who analyzed the defendants’ phones, was of the utmost importance. During his exposition, which he had begun on Monday with the reconstruction based on various videos, on this sixth day he dedicated himself to cell phone chats.
On the Cinalli phone, he spoke of a group called “El club del Azote”, made up of 13 people from Zárate, among whom was the defendant, who at 5:08 a.m. on January 18, 2020 reported the following: “We fought , we won against some cheetos, we broke them. We are going to the center to reward”.
One of the members of the chat replied: “Represent Zárate, guacho.” Cinalli boasted: “There was a blond who was holding on to my ankle.” This sentence is connected with the testimony of Tomás D’Alessandro, a friend of Fernando’s who mentioned in his testimony that he grabbed the ankles of one of the aggressors.
“Dude, we flash. I think we killed one, all of Gesell is saying that”, was one of the strongest texts that were revealed from the rugbier’s cell phone and that was sent at 5:15 on January 18, 2020.
His interlocutor replied: “The demolishers.”
Then, at 6:47 AM, someone asked him: “What’s up, Blas, did they get together?” Cinalli replied: “Two convulsed, we sent one to the hospital, without vital signs.” Minutes later he explained: “We hit one with ‘El Perto’, we recharged him with sticks, but badly. We came running home.”
“Are you blown, friend?” Someone replied.
“Yes, friend, since the afternoon,” he replied.
In addition, in another message to a contact not linked to the cause, Cinalli confesses: “Friend, we flashed. I think we killed one. Gesell is all saying that. In Le Brique”.
Given this, his interlocutor replied: “Eh?? NOOO. FRIEND. Capable because he does not get up and he fainted ”.
The conversation continues with Cinalli: “Dude, two different groups said they took him to the hospital with no vital signs. I didn’t even flash it there, but we all went back to the house. We don’t want to go out.”
Far from worrying, the friend answers in a festive way: “NOOO FRIEND, THE WRECKERS”.
Minutes later, Cinalli’s interlocutor confirms the murder:
“Friend, we are here. They are telling me that they killed one.”
The rugbier’s response outrages even more: “I just want to drink wine and smoke flowers.”
Later in the morning, at 6.37, Cinalli begins another chat with a friend who was returning home who admits that “they smoked a snow” -marijuana cigarette with cocaine- and asks him: “Did they fight? What happened?”.
The rugby player answers: “Yes, don’t say that I told you because I don’t know if it’s heavy or not. Inside Le Brique he painted bondi. They were a couple, we screwed it up when the whole cap came out. The cops left and we gave it life for a while. Two seized and reportedly had no vital signs.”
At 6:48 a.m., the WhatsApp group involving those involved in the crime and other friends who are not charged today, but who were part of the trip and the original accusation in the file, was activated.
There, they talk to meet at the house. There, one of the first conversations is with a young man who was not in the attack on Báez Sosa, but who wants to know what happened. And he points directly to Blas Cinalli: “They told me that they gave you dough, what’s up? Dale guachin contá, what flashes”.
Given this, Cinalli cuts himself off and replies in a bad way: “What? Do you want to get information from me? Ortiva. See ya. Police. Wachin”.
However, then the conversation turns to good terms and they begin to talk about what appears to be drug use: “Now I’ll come and give him a pass,” says Cinalli’s interlocutor, who joins in: “Yes, please. I need (sic)”. “A cache, really hard”continues the other.
After an inconsequential conversation about buying food, smoking marijuana and going to the beach the next day, the friend who was not in the fight answers an audio from Cinalli that alludes to Fernando’s crime:
“Hahahaha we won says Blas. The others were surely re pichi ”.
About the end of the conversation, when it’s already 14.03 of January 18 and while the rugbiers were arrested by the Buenos Airesthis same person, whose identity is unknown, sends news captures that report what happened and writes: “Bad there, they killed one. They are all in jail. What do you think, José? Are you there? Oh they are a dick. Some go out for money. We don’t see Blas anymore. When the news of the cell phone reached me, the first thing I thought was Blas ”.
