The workers grouped in the Río Negro Public Health Union Association (Asspur) announced on Monday that will maintain the work stoppage scheduled for this week, after a meeting that took place this Monday in Viedma with the Rio Negro Secretary of Labor, Jorge Stopiello.
The union demands, among other issues, salary recomposition and that they be recognized as a union to participate in the joint discussion that takes place within the framework of the Río Negro Public Service table.
“We make our claims clear, we expand on a lot of issues that have to do with the functioning of the health system”Asspur General Secretary Cerisa Mullaly said.
“We left the meeting with Stopiello’s commitment to work on the claims, now we await a concrete and formal response,” he added.
From Asspur it was reported that the strike days that will take place throughout the week in most of the public hospitals in the province of Río Negro remain firm, “no care in offices, laboratories and other areas, only emergencies are attended”it cleared up.
Mullaly said that the union saw “with positive eyes” the reception of the provincial Ministry of Labor, a decision that “is not minor”, he valued, since the labor portfolio “has interference in most of the points that we claim”.
“But until now the strike continues and remains,” added the trade unionist, and remarked that “For now there are no concrete answers, but we understand that Minister Stopiello’s commitment is not minor.”
As reported by the trade unionist, this Monday compliance with the strike was quite high with 25 hospitals “that are adhering to the measure,” she explained.
