I would have planned his death
For her parents, Carol Isabel would have planned an attempt on her life from the day they went for a walk in San Gil, Santander.
«She asked about the river, she looked at the river. She made the decision by herself, by herself,” her father told Caracol Radio.
However, it is still a surprise for Antonio Bermúdez, her father, that the young woman has made that fatal decision: “She was very calm, from home, and very studious.”
Meanwhile, Carol Isabel’s mother, Mrs. Ana Pinilla, delivered a statement to the La Caliente radio station in the municipality of Girón, Santander, and detailed what those vacation days were like.
«They were two normal days, we saw Carol normal, happy, her father shared with her, we are separated, we did not notice anything out of the ordinary. She saw the river with interest and insistence, she watched the river, she told me, the river is mighty, it is deep, very high, but these are things that she does not pay attention to, “revealed the student’s parent.
After confirming her death, the body of Carol Isabel will be transferred to the city of Bogotá, where they will say their last goodbye.
