The sale of construction materials registered a seasonally adjusted increase of 7.58 in July compared to June, according to the Construya Index (IC).
The work carried out by the Construya Group, made up of Loma Negra, FV Grifería de Alta Tecnología, Cefas – El Milagro, among other companies, indicates that “a high and stable level of activity compared to previous years”.
In the year-on-year comparison, the increase was “8.40% compared to July last year, with an accumulated growth of 9% compared to the same period in 2021.”
“During July the recovery of the level of shipments of materials for residential works continued and the highest volumes of the year were recorded”add the report.
In addition, it was highlighted that the evolution of the Index in the last twenty years “demonstrates that construction was and is a profitable and safe business for investors and a solid haven of value”.
