The United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) ratified its full support for China by formally delivering a pronouncement to the Asian country’s ambassador, Li Boarong, in rejection of the provocations that “try to heat up the global stage” by the US government before the visit of the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Nancy Pelosi, to Taiwan.
The information was released by the Vice President of Regional Affairs of the PSUV, Carmen Meléndez, on her account on the social network Twitter, where she explained that the statement was delivered on behalf of the president of the party and the Venezuelan people, Nicolás Maduro.
Likewise, he indicated that the political party rejects “any act of imperial provocation that affects the policy of one China and that tries to heat up the global stage. This sister nation fights for a just cause, the defense of its territory, so it has our full support.”
For his part, Rander Peña, a member of the PSUV national leadership, said that Venezuela supports the right of the Chinese people to defend their sovereignty under the principle of one China.
Likewise, the member of the PSUV and head of the Government of the Capital District, Nahum Fernández, who was present at the delivery ceremony of the pronouncement, highlighted the Bolivarian Diplomacy of Peace that Venezuela is carrying out with the countries of the world.

The United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) described the visit of the Speaker of the United States House of Representatives, Nancy Pelosi, to Taiwan as “a direct provocation towards the People’s Republic of China.”
According to a release of the party, the PSUV “Rejects the provocation of war and aggression against the sovereignty of the sister People’s Republic of China by the Speaker of the United States House of Representatives with her interventionist visit to the island of Taiwan.”
Faced with this act of provocation by the US against China, the Venezuelan party expresses to the president of China, Xi Jinping, all the solidarity and support of the Bolivarian Revolution.
