President Alberto Fernández resumed the “closeness meetings” with a visit to a factory that will provide genuine employment to 140 beneficiaries of social plans and there he especially valued “entrepreneurs who take risks, who bet, who give work,” according to official sources. .

The Head of State visited the plant that Textilcom owns in the Villa Lugano neighborhood of Buenos Aires, accompanied by the company’s CEO, Carlos Villariño, and learned about the expansion plans of this enterprise, which produces 1 million garments a year and has as its main customers to Grisino, Christopher Columbus and Cheeky.

“I am very happy with what I recently experienced, they are boys, girls, men, women who are receiving assistance from the State to start a future as workers in a company that is growing and that is very important and you have to take great care of it,” said the president after touring the establishment that currently employs 300 people.

Likewise, he valued “businessmen who take risks, who bet, who give work”, while assuring that local production in “Argentina grew 10 points last year, we are the country that grew the most in the world and we can continue to grow because in addition to last year we took advantage of it and that is a merit of all”.

As was officially recorded, Fernández also delivered the first “Official Sewing” diplomas to 18 employees who joined the company, after training during the month of January through the National Program for Socio-productive Inclusion and Local Development ” Promote Work” of the Ministry of Labor.

This training course will be repeated in March in order to incorporate 140 new workers who will go from having social plans to genuine employment.

For his part, Villariño anticipated that “three new ones in the municipality of Lanús and the provinces of La Rioja and Catamarca” will be added to the current plant because “we believe that industry is the engine of development in Argentina, we are many inhabitants and without industry this country is unviable”.

In this framework, he added: “We believe in industrialization and that is why we bet on it. We are happy to receive the President in our establishment and we are aligned in his culture and industrial policy”.
