The President participates in the meeting of the national climate change cabinet

Fernández will participate in the presentation of the National Plan for Adaptation and Mitigation to Climate Change.


President Alberto Fernandez will participate this Tuesday in the meeting of the national climate change cabinet and will swear in the designated Minister of Territorial Development and Habitat, Santiago Maggiotti.

The first activity will take place at 11:30 in the Casa Rosada Bicentennial Museum, where the National Plan for Adaptation and Mitigation to Climate Change.

At 6:30 p.m., Fernández will swear in Maggiotti as the new Minister of Territorial Development and Habitat, also at the Bicentennial Museum, it was officially reported.

Until now Secretary of Housing replaces Jorge Ferraresi, who resigned to resume his role as mayor of the Avellaneda party in Buenos Aires.

The act was going to take place on Monday, but was postponed for this Tuesday after the President’s decision to travel to Brazil to personally greet Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva for his victory in Sunday’s presidential ballot in the neighboring country.
