The national senator for the Front of All, Anabel Fernandez Sagastiopened this saturday the summit of the Justicialist Party de Mendoza, with a call to summon “all those who left or are estranged” to the party.

“We must summon each one of those who left, are estranged or in their homes to debate ideas for the Peronism of the future,” Fernández Sagasti said at the beginning of the meeting, which will include the Interior Minister, Eduardo de Pedro; the Buenos Aires governor Axel Kicillof and the head of the Chamber of Deputies, Sergio Massa, among other national figures.

The chief of staff, Juan Manzur, could not attend due to the illness of a relative, the organizers said at the beginning of the meeting.

At the opening, Fernández Sagasti -leader of La Cámpora in the province- called to “recover Peronism in Mendoza” -province that governs radicalism and Cambia Mendoza since 2003- and called for “debating the ideas of Peronism for the future” , as the motto of today’s meeting says.

In her speech, the senator thanked “for believing, thinking that it is possible and because they did not take away our self-esteem and the value of what it means to be a Peronist in Mendoza.”

The meeting, which takes place in the Ángel Bustelo Auditorium, is also attended by the Governor of San Juan, Sergio Unac; the former president of Salta Juan Manuel Urtubeynational senators and former governors such as Lucia Corpacci (Catamarca) and Adolfo Rodriguez Saa (Saint Louis).

Figures from the trade union sphere also participate, such as the national deputy and general secretary of the Central de Trabajadores de Argentina (CTA), Hugo Yaskyand other national legislators such as Juliana Di Tullio, Jose Mayans, Eugenia Dure, Emiliano Estrada Y vanessa sileyamong others.

The most striking presence is that of Urtubey, opposed to Kirchnerism, but who in the last few hours shared a coffee with De Pedro in two meetings, spokesmen for both leaders confirmed to Télam.

“What changes now is that he wants to go to an internship within Peronism, within the Front of All (FdT), and integrate a broader front,” added sources close to Urtubey.

The former president of Salta “believes the same” about his rejection of the policies of President Alberto Fernández and Vice President Cristina Fernández, but his position is to get out of the crack from within Peronism.

“The meeting has panels, keynote speeches and space for questions from the attendees. For us it is essential that what is important does not go unnoticed: a country model that includes us with a federal perspective, with a gender perspective and an emphasis on development policies sustainable”Anabel Fernandez Sagasti

In this sense, De Pedro is also convinced of the need to build a political table of the FdT and expand the coalition with a view to 2023.

Although some meetings that the minister had in recent days with different leaders drew attention, when asked about the subject, he usually answers that “dialogue has to be developed with those who think differently, not with those who already think as one” .

“Dialogue is needed within the FdT focused on solving management problems, which are the same ones that people suffer, such as inflation and salaries; and thinking of adding more actors to our coalition in 2023,” they let it be known from their environment.

De Pedro also understands that in the Government “there are pending issues to be resolved in the management that are very important”, that is why “thinking about candidacies today is something irresponsible and even stupid”, indicated sources close to the minister.

The president of the Mendoza PJ, Anabel Fernandez Sagastiannounced that the appointment will be “open to all colleagues to dialogue, debate and exchange ideas on current issues, although with future projection”.

“The meeting is organized in panels, with keynote speeches, and space for questions from the attendees. For us it is essential that what is important does not go unnoticed: a country model that includes us with a federal perspective, with a gender perspective and an emphasis on policies of sustainable development,” said the senator.

The summit seeks to “reflect on various current issues related to issues of the environment, gender and technology,” the organization said in a statement.

This first meeting works as “a trigger for future instances of training and to generate analysis material inside and outside the space,” added party sources and pointed out that with this objective, “a document will also be systematized that will be analyzed in the territory with the different referents of Peronism”.
