The company presented its figures for the year that just ended and assured that it achieved 97.5% in its collection levels, with an 18% increase in collection indicators, compared to the year 2021, that is, 6,200 million more.
The Edesur General Manager, Milton Morrisonrecalled that the government is a standard bearer of solidarity, and by buying energy from generators at the highest prices in recent history, this impacts the increase in the subsidy, which is not a deficiency of the distributors, but a benefit that granted by the State to all consumers so as not to raise the price of energy to the reality of the market.
He said that: “Losses in Edesur They have remained stable in the last two years, despite supplying more energy, since the EDEs have had to buy it from generators at the highest prices in recent history, and with natural gas and coal tripling, and even quintupling” .
