The number of Ukrainian refugees left by the war rises to 4.7 million

The flow of refugees has slowed slightly in recent weeks, going from more than 100,000 a day at the beginning of the invasion to less than 50,000 a day.

Hungary has received 380,000 Ukrainian refugees, Russia 350,000, Slovakia 300,000 and Belarus 12,000, according to UNHCR.

Added to these refugees are the more than 6.5 million internally displaced persons in Ukraine itself, meaning that nearly 11 million Ukrainians, a quarter of the total population, have left their homes to flee the violence.
