“Knowing that it is a bacterium that does not always cause bilateral pneumonia, we are including, within the patient selection criteria, any health personnel, patient or family caregiver, who has been in the private clinic in August and who has some compatible symptom: fever or respiratory cold of different severity, not necessarily bilateral pneumonia “he indicated.
Regarding the number of total affected, the minister assured that the number rises to 19, because after expanding the criteria to treat patients, eight more cases were added.
“Of 11 affected, eight more are added, of which two are health personnel, five are patient caregivers and a patient with comorbidity who is in vital commitment.”
