General PNP José Antonio Zavala Chumbiauca is the new head of the Directorate against terrorism (Dircote) of the National Police. Zavala was promoted to general last year and comes from directing the Directorate for the Prevention and Investigation of Vehicle Theft (Diprove). He will now replace General Óscar Arriola.
