The Mayor’s Office of Santa Cruz reported this Wednesday that it requested a meeting with the Departmental Health Service (Headquarters) and the Santa Cruz Government to determine new measures to help contain the fourth wave of Covid-19 in the region. Among the options that arise, is the declaration of a rigid quarantine that lasts between five to seven days.

“(The quarantine) will help us reduce the number of infections and have the possibility of recovering. We think that with at least five or seven days we will have a recovery,” said one of the municipal officials.
